April 17, 2009 – Teva Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce the introduction and availability of Topiramate Capsules (Sprinkle). This product is AB rated and bioequivalent to Topamax Sprinkle Capsules. Topiramate Capsules (Sprinkle) are available in 15 mg and 25 mg strengths, in bottle sizes of 60.

I need to know if anyone has experience that the use of Topiramate Tabs (Generic for Topamax) is not as effective as Topamax. My son used to take Topamax and his seizures were controlled. He might have had a minor, such as, a numbness and tingling around his mouth, however, since he started taking Topiramate, I noticed he is being having very bad seizures more often. Please comment. Worry mom.
